J. Colangelo & Son, Inc. has been serving the Central Massachusetts area in general building construction services for over forty years. 

George and Joseph Colangelo co-founded Colangelo Construction Company in 1964 and literally built the company from the ground up.  In 1970, Colangelo Construction became incorporated and took the firm name "J.Colangelo & Son, Inc." with George serving as president of the corporation and Joseph as Treasurer.  

Joseph retired in 1983, after twenty years of procuring and managing much of the company's public work contracts, thereby making George president and treasurer.  George retired in 2008, and now holds the executive trustee position of treasurer.  In 1987 Matthew Colangelo, the third generation, joined the firm and started out as estimator and project manager.  In 1995 he became vice president and is currently president of the corporation.

Colangelo & Son.  Working under safe conditions, while mandated by law and OSHA, shows respect for the workers and the owner.  It increases productivity and strengthens the bond between the worker and the corporation while lowering costs for the owner and enabling our projects to meet strict timelines and quality assurances.  We are proud of our safety record will strive to maintain our impeccable record on each project.
